Position: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description:
Residential and commercial electrical contracting company is looking for an Assistant Project Manager who has experience with job costing and material purchases. The assistant project manager will assist in managing administrative and managerial aspects of projects from start to finish while developing strong teams for each project.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years in the electrical construction industry

•Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment

•Ability to manage/run multiple projects as required

•Superior communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
• Job costing and material purchase
• Provide accurate administrative documentation to the office in a timely manner
• Maintain professional relations with general contractors, sub-contractors, owners, and subordinates
• Assist with the management of projects and project teams
• Develop organized plans for managing time, materials, manpower, and property plans & blueprints
• Assess situations and take immediate action while thinking logically for the best solution
• Must be able to meet deadlines while maintaining, safety, integrity, and quality of work
