The Electrical Engineer 1 is responsible for assisting with the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, and systems. This position will learn the engineering profession and the practical application of electrical engineering disciplines under the supervision of an Electrical Engineer.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Participate in development, engineering, design, and drafting of manufacturing projects related to control buildings, relay panels, and switchgear.
• Assist in generating schematics and wiring drawings, as well as performing equipment selection for manufacturing projects.
• Assist in developing bill of materials for manufacturing projects.
• Provide engineering support to production departments during all stages of manufacturing.
• Assist with assembly and testing of engineering projects.
• Perform analysis and generate reports, as needed.
• Provide suggestions on areas of improvement to standardize and increase the efficiency surrounding production.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience/Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• At least 0-2 years of related work experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse the production floor as needed.
