The Estimating Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the estimating department during the bid-out process.

Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • Appropriately file and maintain all electronic & paper copies of bid documents: including receiving and distributing all drawings, specifications and any pertinent information for bids in a timely manner.
  • Follow procedures for proper storage and destruction of bid documents.
  • Organize and maintain the company’s bid log and tracks the status of bids.
  • Attend weekly bid meetings; take meeting notes and update bid log accordingly
  • Transfer customer bill of materials for relay panels to our Excel template
  • Obtain quotes from venders for parts on panel bill of materials.
  • Submit RFI’s for part issues as needed and follow up with customers to ensure requested information is received in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects while meeting required deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in an administrative role

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to traverse the production floor as needed.
