The Estimating Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the estimating department during the bid-out process.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Appropriately file and maintain all electronic & paper copies of bid documents: including receiving and distributing all drawings, specifications and any pertinent information for bids in a timely manner.
- Follow procedures for proper storage and destruction of bid documents.
- Organize and maintain the company’s bid log and tracks the status of bids.
- Attend weekly bid meetings; take meeting notes and update bid log accordingly
- Transfer customer bill of materials for relay panels to our Excel template
- Obtain quotes from venders for parts on panel bill of materials.
- Submit RFI’s for part issues as needed and follow up with customers to ensure requested information is received in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects while meeting required deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience/Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in an administrative role
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to traverse the production floor as needed.
Salary Description
$19.00-$21.50/HourlyAdditional Info
