NASCAR Racing Located 50 miles east of Los Angeles, Auto Club Speedway, formerly California Speedway, is a two-mile, low-banked, D-shaped oval superspeedway (one of the fastest on the circuit) which has hosted NASCAR racing annually since 1997. The track is owned and operated by NASCAR. Today, California’s premier motorsports facility, hosts over 320 days of track activity including a quarter-mile championship dragstrip at Auto Club Dragway, full-service karting facilities and various racing schools and experiences.
