About

About Us The Credit Union Difference Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives. Unlike banks, credit unions do not issue stock or pay dividends to stockholders. Credit unions exist to serve their members. Their earnings are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher interest on deposits, and lower fees. Pacific Transportation Federal Credit Union was founded in 1939 by employees of Southern Pacific Railroad as a way to provide affordable financial services to their co-workers and families. Today the credit union serves more than 6,000 members including Union Pacific, Amtrak, MV Transportation, Fault Line Logistics, LLC, P&B Intermodal, Pacific Harbor Lines, Faraday Future employees, and their family members. In addition, our affiliation with the Pasadena Model Railroad Club allows prospective members to join with a membership to PMRRC. Pacific Transportation Federal Credit Union’s mission is to provide excellent financial products and services by highly motivated and knowledgeable staff. Let us serve your financial needs!
