Groomer Position Overview: 

As a Groomer at Paws and Claws Depot, you will provide professional grooming services to a wide range of dog breeds. Your role is to ensure that each pet looks and feels their best while maintaining high safety and quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities: Perform grooming services such as haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing Provide consultations with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and needs Ensure all grooming tools are sanitized and well-maintained Handle pets safely and kindly, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process Recognize signs of stress or health issues in animals and take appropriate actions Maintain grooming records and provide follow-up recommendations to pet owners Work with the store and grooming team to schedule appointments and manage workflow Ensure the grooming salon meets cleanliness and safety standards at all times 

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Certified grooming experience with a portfolio of past work Strong knowledge of dog breeds, grooming styles, and techniques Excellent communication skills and a passion for animal care Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs Strong attention to detail and time management skills
