Title: Supported Employment Program Assistant
Function: To support the Program Supervisor and Business Services Manager in ensuring high quality execution of supports and service provision in a safe environment that meets all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in on-boarding new Job Coaches with familiarity in Case Magic, Teams, When I Work, and ADP; Providing training follow up as needed.
- Uses good judgment and creativity to professionally resolve conflicts as necessary.
- Ensure daily vehicle inspection sheets are completed and collects monthly safety drills from each crew.
- With support of the SEP Supervisor, develops and maintains detailed Task Analysis and assists in the completion of time studies.
- Assist as needed across other Business Services departments.
- Appropriately communicates, through all means, and responds to customer needs in a timely manner.
- Attends new start meetings for new IPs and acts as the initial Job Coach through orientation and onboarding as needed.
- Assists in Supported Employment (all programs) Intakes as needed.
- Assists in the completion of ESAs as assigned.
- Set a good example by enforcing and following rules and directives of the community employer; demonstrate to other staff and individuals the proper techniques, habits, and work ethic for typical community employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Distributes Individual Placement Job Coach schedules.
- Gathers IP schedules from participants and provide to BS Manager by week's end.
- Assists in building/maintaining Supported Employment files.
- Performs monthly audits of Case Magic tracking/notes and relays findings to SEP Supervisor.
- Maintains site binders and digital Hazard Communications and Safety-related documents.
- Ensures group sites have adequate supplies.
- Collaborates with Case Managers for subs/group coverage.
- Provides site Job Coach coverage as needed.
- Operates equipment and use materials in a manner that adheres to all safety regulations, while ensuring the safety of all persons served.
- Assists in coordination, implementation and direct support of activities and fundraisers for all clients.
- Ability to provide virtual communications/trainings through platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Directly Supervises: No Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervised By: Supported Employment Program Supervisor
Requirements:
- Two years of related experience.
- Demonstrates proficient competency in the following areas: Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; grammar, spelling, filing, record keeping and maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Candidate must possess a clear driving record, a valid CA driver’s license, proof of current vehicle insurance, safe reliable transportation, and willingness to drive participants.
- Prolonged standing, repetitive motion, walking, sitting, pushing, bending, and pulling required, squatting may be necessary.
- Ability to pass First Aid and CPR certification
- Adhere to Flexible scheduling needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. independently and 50 lbs. with a partner.
- Prolonged standing, repetitive motion, walking, sitting, pushing, bending, and pulling required, squatting may be necessary.
- Repetitive motion may be necessary.
- Ability to tolerate working outside in the elements and/or inside warehouse type conditions.
Hours: Traditionally, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. This schedule can and will fluctuate, to include weekends, based on business needs.
Salary: $21.26-$22.26 per hour
