Yvonne Burgos, PsyD

Dr. Burgos is a clinical Psychologist who obtained her PsyD from Alliant International University. Dr. Burgos has experience working with youths involved in the juvenile justice system, families involved in child protective services, and adults who have unresolved trauma from childhood wounds. Dr. Burgos works from a trauma-informed lens and helps heals wounded parts (triggers) that may be creating problems in the person's life. Dr. Burgos also facilitates groups to help with increasing coping skills when dealing with difficult co-parents.

Dr. Burgos is the owner of Burgos Psychological Services and values reputation, meaningful work, and loyalty. Dr. Burgos demonstrates meaningful work in my work ethic, staying on top of training, and seeking consultation when needed. Dr. Burgos also supervises psychological assistants and she upholds the same expectation for them.
